Bug Fixes

Known Issue

• After pre-ordering the Teferi Play Bundle, the game incorrectly shows +10 Mastery Levels for the locked item in your collection.
• The play bundle no longer includes the additional Mastery levels. When hovering the pre-order bundle in store, the correct pre-order contents are shown.

• Adjusted Rank-Based Matchmaking for Premier Draft
  • Developer’s Note: As some of you may have noticed, there were certain scenarios where you were being matched against somebody with a much higher (or lower) Rank than yours – this should address that issue. Regardless, players were still being properly matched on their current W/L record (Ranked draft formats use both your rank and your win/loss record when searching for an opponent).
• Adjustments to opening-hand algorithm for Premier Draft
  • Developer’s Note: We intend for best-of-one formats to use a modified opening-hand algorithm which pulls multiple potential opening hands and chooses one; Premier Draft was operating contrary to that, and we have fixed it accordingly. To stave off any conspiracy theories, it was previously using our best-of-three opening hand rules (which pulls one, and only one opening hand).

We’re aware of an issue where players who purchased the Ikoria Mastery Pass are not receiving their Draft Token when reaching Level 15. This is a bug, and we are currently working on a fix to ensure affected players get the intended rewards. This will include players who reached Level 15 before this issue is resolved.

Acquiring Godzilla Series Monster Card Styles in MTG Arena

We’re only a few weeks away from Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths arriving on MTG Arena – and this time, we’re bringing friends.

• Theros Beyond Death Ranked Draft will be available March 19–April 16 in addition to our regular bi-weekly rotating Ranked Draft event.
